Sugarcane Coffee Company opened its doors in April 2006 and after a recommendation from Baylands Coffee in Bangor became a DH Business Services customer, pre-booking a cash register 6 weeks before their doors opened.

Originally Sugarcane Coffee Company started with a Sam4s ER-5200M but as business progressed and their evening menu got underway they upgraded to the new Infolet Touchscreen system with free reservations package and floorplan layout. Sugarcane now sponsor the ninth and 18th hole of Mahee Island Gold Club.
